Washington will hold rabies clinic

WASHINGTON — The town will host a rabies clinic Dec. 13 at the Washington Fire Department from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dr. Paula Benner, a new town resident, has volunteered to assist the town this year. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a carrier. There will be a $12 fee for each animal.

Registration also will be available for all dogs in Washington. Dogs six months or older must be registered by January 31, 2009. Spayed/neutered dogs are $6. Non-altered dogs are $11. Cats do not need to be licensed.
