Passing storms have caused power outages in various parts of the state Saturday afternoon.

Central Maine Power Company reports more than 900 customers without power currently in areas ranging from Bridgton, Skowhegan, Brunswick and Portland. At the height of the outages more than 3,000 customers were without power this afternoon. CMP says crews are at work and power should be restored to most areas by this evening.
