LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Fans of rapper Snoop Dogg snapped up 650 tickets remaining for his Lewiston show in 90 minutes.

Bates College students and faculty had already bought more than 1,300 tickets for the risque rapper’s Feb. 27 show when the remainder were made available online.

The Sun Journal of Lewiston says 200 of the tickets were purchased instantly when they went on sale.

The Grammy nominee’s staff agreed in late January to bring Snoop Dogg to the Lewiston college for a show. School officials say they were flooded with calls just hours after he signed the deal.
