A rash of car burglaries in the Sebago Lake region has been reported to Cumberland County Sheriff’s office in the past few days.

The department has received 26 complaints since Oct. 29 from car owners in Casco, Gray Standish, Raymond and Naples, where most of the complaints originated.

In most cases, the vehicles were unlocked and parked at home with items in plain view. Two hunting guns were among the stolen items.
