Rain expected today; tomorrow brings snow

Though temperatures will be above freezing, weather in Central Maine could prove treacherous, according to the National Weather Service.

Up to an inch of rain is expected today, with winds reaching 38 miles per hour. Roads may get icy after sundown, as the temperature is projected to drop to 31 degrees, the NWS reports.

Tonight, the rain with continue, with another possible half-inch coming down.

The rain will turn to snow Tuesday morning, though temperatures are expected to reach the high 30s, according to the NWS.  An inch or less of accumulation is possible.
