More funds for MaineState Housing

U.S. senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins today announced that the Maine State Housing Authority will be receiving $568,812 in Family Unification grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“This grant funding will greatly benefit low-income Mainers struggling to keep their families together,” said senators Snowe and Collins in a joint statement.  “We are excited to announce this funding because it will do much good for so many people.”

The Family Unification Grant Program provides funding to public housing agencies for families whom the lack of adequate housing is a primary factor in separation or possible separation.

WorkingMomX2, have you worked

WorkingMomX2, have you worked for MaineHousing personally? Are these "perks" out of line with the private sector provides for its employees?
