A Maine church group that was in Honduras during the military coup has returned home to Bangor. More than 60 members of All Souls Congregational Church were in the Central American country to build two houses and a kindergarten when they heard the country's leader had been overthrown. They were staying about 25 miles from the capital city where there were protests. WMTV in Portland says church group leaders stayed in contact with the U.S. embassy and also sent updates on their condition through e-mail to their families and friends back home.
