PORTLAND -- Portland police say they are charging William Hanaman with the murder of Marion Shea.
Police plan to issue a statement later today about the decision to charge Hanaman, 51, in the murder of his girlfriend. Shea’s body was found Wednesday at 1021 Ocean Ave.
Hanaman has been a patient since the killing at Spring Brook Hospital, a psychiatric care facility, police said.
Hanaman had been unconscious, but regained consciousness Friday, police said.
Shea, 47, is the mother of five children. According to neighbors she had been dating Hanaman. Hanaman was charged with domestic violence assault on Shea Oct. 7, but failed to show up for his arraignment Nov. 5.

"Hanaman has been a patient since the killing at Spring Brook Hospital..." I hope this loser doesn't plead an insanity plea; or at least, get away with it!! Killing a mother of five is a horrible thing!!
