Boy hit by car on Main St. in Biddeford

BIDDEFORD -- A boy was hit by a car on Main Street just after noon today. Biddeford police said the accident involving a boy about 9 or 10 years old occurred at about 12:15 p.m. in front of 391 Main St. The boy was taken initially to Southern Maine Medical Center and then to Maine Medical Center for further treatment. His identity and condition have not been released. Police are reconstructing the accident and so far no charges have been filed against the driver, whose identity has not been released.
