2 escape plane crash unharmed

EDDINGTON — Two men escaped unharmed when their small plane crashed on a pond in Eddington, Maine.

Maine State Police says it looks like a mechanical defect caused the plane to crash on Chemo Pond Friday afternoon. WMTW-TV reports the plane ended up partly in the trees and partly in the water.
